Five Pakistanis held for planning attack in southern Afghanistan
2005-07-01
Five Pakistanis suspected of planning attacks in the south of war-shattered Afghanistan have been arrested, Afghan police said yesterday. They had crossed from Pakistan into the Afghan province of Zabul and were arrested on Wednesday while travelling by bus to the former Taleban stronghold of Kandahar, provincial police chief Alah Yar told AFP. The men were arrested on a tip-off from US-led forces who had kept them under surveillance, said Ghulam Mohammed Aka, chief of police in Shahr-e-Safa district where the arrests were made.

#1  Hmmmm ... let me see: Pakistan has the nerve to stand up to India but can't patrol even a small part of its lawless border with Afghanistan?

And what self-respecting sovereign country concedes entire areas of its territory as "lawless" and ungovernable? Since areas like Waziristan are essentially beyond the sovereign rule of Paki-skank-land, why not let us send some B-52s to resolve the issue?

Then again Paki-skank-land IS one giant lawless region! Mucho bombings to do!
