2005-06-11 |
TWO employees of the medical charity Doctors without Borders (Medecins sans Frontieres, MSF), kidnapped in the northeastern Democratic Republic of Congo on June 2, were freed today, military and diplomatic sources said. The release of the French logistical expert and his Congolese driver by one of the Ituri region's numerous armed groups was confirmed by MSF in Geneva, which said both were in good health. The sources said the pair were in the regional capital of Bunia. |
