Terrorist killed in shootout with police in Narail
Narail, May 5:—An alleged terrorist was killed in a shootout between his accomplices and policemen at Bosupati village under Lohagara uapzila on Wednesday night, reports UNB. The deceased was identified as Azmal Kazi, 30, son of Latif Kazi of Gilatala village in the upazila and a leader of a local criminal group.
Police said they detained Azmal and his three accomplices from Sikdar Mollik village under Najirpur upazila of Pirojpur on Wednesday and brought them to Lohagara police station.
"Howdy, boys. You coming quietly, or do we have to go look for arms?"

On the basis of their confessional statements, the law-enforcers took them to Basupati in a bid to recover hidden firearms the same night.
All four of them? Must have a backlog of cases.
But the advancing police team was fired on in a bid to free Azmal and others from police custody resulting a gunbattle, police said, adding at one stage Azmal was hit by bullets and died on the spot.
Four wanted criminals in custody, dark night, cops and bad guys trading fire, and the gang leader is the only one to catch a bullet. Funny how that works, ain't it?
Police later recovered two pipe guns and three rifle bullets from the spot. Azmal was wanted in seven cases, including two of murders, police said.
No word on his "accomplices".

#3  What they need is the Bangla version of Walter Winchell to narrate it. Put it on TV on Friday nights, right after the fights.

#2  Hachan got caught in the crossfire trying to flee

See, here's their problem. They keep trying to take the shortest route to their ''associates''. If they'd run AWAY from them, they wouldn't wonder into the crossfire.

Ya know what I'd like to see? A little innovation in the crossfire reports. Maybe they capture Bagwan Bill, take him to recover some hidden weapons, the gunfight starts, and Bill escapes! BUT his associate Dacoit Dave was killed during the shooting!

A little variety, ya know?
