#6  It was all an accident, my assistant was attending his hairgrowth for men club and didn't warn me of a certain bad variable.

#4  I see them at the buffet lines on Wednesday night Mr. 4Doo, Chumley is in good shape but has been forced by circumstance into being Mr. Tuxedo's prime mover. It's sad to see a penguin in a wheel chair.

#2  You're right that the BSA is well-equipped to fight their own battles, and does a great job at keeping their soverenity. These stories are worth keeping an eye on regardless; my fear is that the BSA will cave a little here and a little there until it ultimately becomes unrecognizable. Time will tell.

#1  Ms. Chumley needs to get a grip! In her “chicken little” rant, she posits that the Boy Scouts of America (BSA), by virtue of their membership in the WOSM will soon fall under the sway of that organization because:

“The United Nations Environment Program has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the World Organization of the Scout Movement, committing nearly 30 million children and youth to advancing this U.N. body's environmental agenda.”

Nothing could be farther from the truth!

The BSA, WOSM and member organizations have long been at odds over issues central to the existence of the BSA, as we know it.

A series of pronouncements, by the WOSM, concerning their “progressive” view of how the BSA falls short can be found at: http://www.bsa-discrimination.org/index.html

Key to their concern is the BSA “…25+ years refer(ence) to the central issue of their exclusionary policy as the "3 G's" (gays, girls and the godless),”

In these three areas, the BSA has held firm and is supported by judgments handed down by the U.S. Supreme Court. And I don’t see any movement on the environmental scene that will result, as Ms. Chumley fears:

“The Boy Scouts of America’s newest merit badge is surely to include the U.N. emblem.”

Rather, I believe the BSA, will continue to follow their own well established code for dealing with the out of doors:

Outdoor Code

As an American, I will do my best to
Be clean in my outdoor manners,
Be careful with fire,
Be considerate in the outdoors, and
Be conservation-minded.
