| PESHAWAR: Security agencies on Tuesday arrested a suspected Afghan Al Qaeda member in a raid in northwestern tribal territory bordering Afghanistan, officials said. The suspect, identified only as Abdullah, was apprehended in a pre-dawn raid in Shahkas village near the border town of Jamrud, 25 km west of here, an administration official said. âWe had received information from law enforcing agencies that Abdullah, who belongs to the eastern Afghan city of Jalalabad, was hiding in a house in the tribal town,â the official said, requesting anonymity. |
