| Karrubi urges students to beware of 'US exploitation' |

| Majlis Speaker Mehdi Karrubi Sunday warned that "the enemy, notably the US, could exploit student protests", which took a hot-blooded turn at the Tehran University campus on Saturday. "Our sermons, slogans and words may lead to disunity and discord and the enemy, notably America, which has been anti-student ... could exploit this situation," Karrubi said at the open session of the Majlis. "Nope. Certainly wouldn't want that, would we? So kindly return to your cells... uh... dormitories and resume your indoctrination. Morning prayers will be held as usual..." |
