| Five Paleos arrested in Jerusalem university bombing... |

| A Palestinian house painter employed by Jerusalem's Hebrew University has been arrested on suspicion he planted a bomb at the student cafeteria that killed nine people, including five Americans, last month. The suspect was part of a 15-member cell run by the Islamic militant group Hamas, the officials said. Five members of the cell have been arrested, including four Palestinian residents of Jerusalem. Where are the rest of them? The house painter was identified as Mohammed Oudeh, a resident of the Silwan neighborhood of east Jerusalem. Oudeh and the other Jerusalem residents carry Israeli identity cards that allow them free movement in Israel. Oudeh received the explosives from accomplices in Ramallah. On the night before the attack, he jumped over the university's fence, and hid the explosives under a bush. The next morning, he walked through the main gate with his employee's permit, picked up the bomb and planted it in the cafeteria. He then left, and detonated the explosives with a cellphone from a distance. Real nice fellow, isn't he? He probably said, "G'morning" to some of the people he was about to blow up as he came in... The next day, Oudeh was called in to work by his unsuspecting boss, an Israeli contractor. And he probably whistled while he worked... The cell was uncovered Saturday, as three of its members were on their way to pick up a bomb left hidden on the Tel Aviv-Jerusalem highway to use in another attack. 'Cause attacking people is what they do, y'know? |

| #1 In the wake of the bombing, members of the Hebrew U community expressed surprise that the campus was a target in light of the large number of Arab students and workers on campus. Ironic how what they thought would protect them ended up killing them. |
