Commander, 10 Chechens, doorknob dead in attack...
2002-08-05
Representative of the Military Committee of State Defense Committee, Majlis al-Shura of Chechen Republic of Ichkeria (CRI) reported to a correspondent of Kavkaz Center that Chechen Mujahideen lost ten soldiers during the latest combat with the invaders' forces in Argun Gorge (Shatoi and Itum-Kali Districts of the country). Two others were captured by the enemy.
They usually report their own casualties low and the enemy's high, so it was probably worse than that. No word on how many were shot to shreds without being quite room temperatured yet, f'instance...
At the same time, over 50 invaders were killed, a large quantity of captured weapons was taken as booty, one helicopter was brought down, and several units of the enemy's military vehicles were burned.
Beat the hell out of 'em, huh?
A representative of Military Committee reported that Chechen Commander Amir Hussein Esabayev, who was in charge of the special operation of Chechen Mujahideen in this region, became Shaheed in the combat with the enemy.
That means he's toes-up and busy decomposing...
According to Kavkaz-Center sources, Hussein Esabayev, with the exclamation "Allah Akbar" (God is Great!), made the Mujahideen follow him, and knocked the enemy out of fortified positions during a fierce hand-to-hand combat with commandos of the aggressors and he sacrificed his own life in one of the critical moments of the battle for a dominating height.
Greased him and the guys who followed him, huh?
The Chechen side again flatly denied the allegations made by Russian invaders' command that units of the Mujahideen attacked forces of the aggressors from the territory of Georgia. The Chechen side stated that first stage of the special operation of the Mujahideen in this region was successfully accomplished. According to the Representative of Military Committee, the combat operations in Argun Gorge will be continued.
Soon as they can find somebody else willing to holler "Allahu Akbar" and get shot to pieces...
General Hussein Esabayev was an active participant in the combat operations against Russian invaders since 1994 till 2002.
At which time he ceased all activity at all...
He headed the units of the Mujahideen at the South-western front. He participated in famous battles for the village of Goiskey in Urus-Martan District of CRI, as well as in protecting and liberating the Chechen capital. He was honored with the highest government award. By the Decree issued by the President of CRI, he was given the rank of a General of Armed Forces of Chechen Republic of Ichkeria.
You may send flowers and donations of arms and ammunition to your local mosque...
