Army to leave Gujarat and return to border |

The Army is being moved out of riot-affected cities in Gujarat and back to the western state's border with Pakistan, a defence ministry spokesman said on Tuesday. "It (the move) has no link with the present situation," said PK Bandopadhya, referring to rising tensions between India and Pakistan. Uh huh. Of course not... "They are going back to the operational areas because they are no longer required for deployment in the cities."
