Lebanon's Hezbollah guerrilla group denounced a U.S. blacklist that included it among "terrorist" groups, calling Washington and its Middle East ally Israel "the heads of world terrorism." "Putting Hezbollah on the list again is a concession to the dictates of the oppressive entity and a response to the Zionist lobby," the group said in a statement faxed to Reuters. "The enemy and its partner, the U.S. administration, are the heads of terrorism in the world, and they seize every chance to squeeze the resistance, sometimes as 'terrorism,' sometimes as threats to American and Zionist interests." |
