Bomb blast near hotel where Indian president is staying
 A bomb exploded this afternoon in front of the hotel in Dhaka where India's President Pranab Mukherjee is staying on his official visit to Bangladesh. Nobody was wounded.The president was in his suite at the Hotel Sonargaon when the blast took place nearly half a kilometer away, Deputy High Commissioner Sandeep Chakravarty said. He added that the explosion was part of the protest that have become a near-daily occurence in Dhaka, was caused "by a harmless device" and that the president was not the target.
