He was a former Member of Parliament in the National Assembly of Bangladesh from 1996 to 2008, and is one of the most prominent leaders of the Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami... superimposed on the face of moon posted in Jamaat-Shibir Facebook page "Basherkella" was actually sold to a large number of people as an omen.
