Fighting on outskirts of Mogadishu
(Sh,M,Network)-Fierce fighting between Somali government forces along with AU peacekeepers and Al shabab fighters took place overnight at Laanta-Buur area, just 25 Km away north-west Mogadishu, witnesses said,A local resident told Shabelle Media under anonymity that the battle started after Al shabab agents staged attacks on Somali and AMISOM forces in the area. No death or wounds reported so far during the attack. Neither Somali government officials nor Al shabab commented on the combat, but the area is one of the locations beyond Mogadishu that captured by TFG and AMISIOM troops this week after three-days of offensives with the orcs.
