#1  So the ISIL are bad guys, really bad-sort of bad? JV or pro?? Really? The press and America are sucked into semantics. A slight of hand on America fooling everyone and achieving nothing. Here are the questions our reporters are supposed to be asking instead of all their semantic crap. 1. Who is the leadership of ISIL? Where are they located? WHat are we doing to isolate this leadership? 2. Where do they get their funding? Where are they keeping their funds? What are we doing to intercept and capture that funding? 3. Who is supplying the logistics required keep this force moving? What are we doing to intercept and deny the logistical support at the headwaters end, not the distribution end? 4. Who is running the oil wells they have captured? WHat are we doing about this? 5. Who are they selling the oil to? 6. Why are we playing wack-a-mole with the front lines and not hitting their command and control? And lastly 7. Why did our president continue to lie to the American people calling them JV until the Grand Mufti of soddi called them bad? Just once I would like to hear some real questions asked!

Clearance Operation Launched in Chahar Dara: Officials
[Tolo News] Afghan security officials on Wednesday said that a clearance operation has begun in Chahar Dara district of Kunduz province to clear the district of bully boys.

Afghan Defense Minister Bismillah Mohammadi is said to be closely monitoring the operation.

On Wednesday more than a hundred Talibs attacked security checkpoints in Chahar Dara starting a clash that is still ongoing between both sides, security officials said on Wednesday.

Officials say that Chahar Dara will be cleared of Death Eaters soon.

The rising insecurity in Kunduz has left many residents concerned about the holy warrior group advancements into the province, causing many to leave everything behind in search of safety.

Residents have stressed that the Death Eaters have gained more than the security officials have prevented. A Kunduz resident told TOLOnews that the Death Eaters have surrounded the entire province, leaving only the city, which he stressed they would come after sooner or later.

Tunisia, Egypt halt all flights to Libya
[ARABNEWS] Tunisia and Egypt's Cairo airport halted most flights to and from Libya on Thursday for security reasons, officials said, days after the Libyan government said unidentified war planes had attacked positions of gangs in Tripoli
...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn...
.

Flights from Tunisia and Egypt to Libya had been operating on an almost daily basis until now, a vital link to the outside for Libyans and foreigners alike as fighting between rival factions in the capital escalated.

Libya has used the small Matiga airport in Tripoli for civilian traffic since the main airport was turned into a battlefield last month. The tower, runway and at least 20 aircraft have been damaged, officials have said.

When flying into Matiga, passengers can sometimes see smoke rising from battles in and around the main airport. Rebel groups who united to topple Muammar Qadaffy
...a reminder that a single man with an idea can change an entire nation, usually for the worse...
in 2011 have since turned on each other, spreading anarchy in oil-producing Libya and raising fears it may become a failed state.

In Tripoli two factions, one from the city of Zintan and the other from Misrata, have been fighting each other for control of the city for over a month.

The violence, the worst Libya has seen since the uprising against Qadaffy, prompted the United Nations
...boodling on the grand scale...
and foreign embassies in Libya to evacuate their staff and citizens, and foreign airlines largely stopped flying to Libya.

Boko Haram Takfiris seize town in NE Nigeria

Takfiri
...an adherent of takfir wal hijra, an offshoot of Salafism that regards everybody who doesn't agree with them as apostates who must be killed...
turbans have taken control of a town in Nigeria's northeast as they continue their assaults in the country.

Witnesses and officials said on Thursday that the town of Buni Yadi in Yobe State has fallen into the hands of the turbans while some residents who beat feet from their violence noted that Boko Haram's attack on the town started late in July, with the Takfiris ultimately taking over the main government building there.

Reports said that the bully boy group has raised its flag above the building and have carried out executions.

"As I speak, there are no military in Buni Yadi and locals say that Boko Haram [militants] come and go as they please," Abdullahi Bego, the front man for Yobe's Governor Ibrahim Geidam, said, adding, "So many people from Buni Yadi have fled to the state capital Damaturu."
Residents said the turbans had set up roadblocks and robbed people as they tried to flee.

"I left Buni Yadi yesterday (Wednesday) because it was no longer safe for me and my family," said trader Surajo Muhammad.
The notorious group has repeatedly targeted Nigerian civilians. In February, Boko Haram turbans killed dozens of students at a boarding school in Buni Yadi.

Boko Haram crisis: Nigeria militants 'seize police academy'
[BBC] Northern Nigeria's riot police training academy has been overrun by Boko Haram

Islamist turbans, a witness in Borno state has told the BBC.

Shots were heard after the forces of Evil arrived in three armoured vehicles and on dozens of cycle of violences, he said.

A police front man confirmed the attack while a senior security source said it had not been possible to communicate with the academy since Wednesday.

The Liman Kara college is near Gwoza town, seized by Boko Haram this month.

Thousands have been killed across north-eastern Nigeria since Boko Haram launched its violent campaign for an Islamic state in 2009.

Arabia
Thousands of armed rebels flood Yemen capital
Sanaa (AFP) - Thousands of armed Shiite rebels in Yemen strengthened their positions in the capital Sanaa on Wednesday as they pressed their campaign to force the government to resign, AFP correspondents witnessed.

The rebels have been fighting an off-conflict with government troops in the northern mountains for the past decade but analysts warned their bid for a greater share of power in a promised new federal Yemen was creating a potentially explosive situation. The Zaidi Shiites are the minority community in mainly Sunni Yemen but they form the majority in the northern highlands, including the Sanaa region.
They've been rebelling for about forever. They had their own country of a sorts once but they folded it into a larger Yemen. Big mistake...
Rebel activists used cranes to build walls around protest camps across the capital, where protest leaders have given the government a deadline of Friday to meet their demands.
Cranes? They had time to use cranes? Did they have time to file environmental impact statements as well? Seems like the government isn't moving spritely to deal with the rebels...
In a bid to stem the crisis, President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi called for dialogue with the rebels and invited representatives to join a "unity government".

But the protests, fuelled by a steep increase in petrol prices, are increasing in momentum with demonstrators showing no signs of backing down. Rebel commander Abdulmalik al-Huthi said on Sunday that the authorities must address protesters' grievances by the end of the week or additional forms of "legitimate action" would take place.
Legitimate action in Yemen I think includes artillery...
On Wednesday, men armed with Kalashnikovs manned checkpoints around the protest camps, while Yemeni military aircraft circled in the skies of the capital.

On the ground, there was little visible sign of a police or military presence near the makeshift protest sites.

"Our actions are peaceful but if the activists are attacked we will cut the hand of the aggressor," said Abu Ali al-Asdi, a spokesman for the demonstrators.
"We will have Dire Revenge™!"
"The resignation of the government is a popular demand and we are against all forms of corruption," he told AFP at a protest camp in west Sanaa.

There was also tension in the south of the capital where hundreds of armed men had built a vast encampment close to the main road linking Sanaa to the south.

"The government will fall on Saturday," declared Mohamed al-Hojari, an armed rebel stationed on the edge of the camp, where vehicles continued to bring protesters.

Concerned by the gravity of the situation, President Hadi held a meeting with representatives from political parties, the army, and civil bodies who agreed the rebels latest actions were "unacceptable", his adviser Fares al-Saqqaf said. A delegation is due to meet the rebels' leader Huthi in his northern fiefdom on Thursday when they will deliver a letter "inviting dialogue and encouraging them to join a unity government".

Yemen has been locked in a protracted transition since longtime strongman Ali Abdullah Saleh was forced from power in February 2012 following a deadly uprising the previous year. The Zaidi rebels, known as Huthis from the name of their leading family, are strongly opposed to the government's plans for a six-region federation, demanding a single region for the northern highlands and a bigger share of power in the federal government.

"The Huthis are capitalising on widespread frustration with the government and the recent rise in fuel prices to rally support and extract political concessions," said April Longley Alley, a Yemen specialist with the International Crisis Group.

"What is happening now appears to be increasingly dangerous political bargaining as part of the Huthis' bid to become a dominant political force in the north and in the national government," she said.

The rebels control Saada province in the far north and parts of several neighbouring provinces. Rebel forces reached the outskirts of Sanaa in July after seizing the city of Amran to its north, although they later agreed to pull back.

Bangladesh
Bangladesh charges 13 over deadly 2001 attack
[ARABNEWS] A Bangladesh court on Thursday charged 13 people with murder over a 2001 kaboom at a political rally in Dhaka that left five people dead.

A judge ruled the head of the Harkat-ul-Jihad-al-Islami (HuJI
Founded in 1984 by Fazlur Rehman Khalil and Qari Saifullah Aktar. The Bangla branch was established in 1992 with assistance from Osama bin Laden. Recruits come mostly from Deobandi madrassahs. HuJI and Fazlur Rehman Khalil are signators of bin Laden's declaration of war on the west.
) outfit, and four other members of the banned group should stand trial for the attack, a prosecutor said.

All 13 including HuJI leader Mufti Abdul Hannan face death by hanging if they are found guilty at trial of the attack.

"Of the accused, five including Mufti Hannan were present at the court room when the judge charged them for murder. The remaining eight are absconding," Asaduzzaman Rochi told AFP.

The eight, who have long been on the run, were charged in absentia.

The blast targeting the Communist Party of Bangladesh rally instantly killed four people and injured at least 25, one of whom later died later in hospital, he said.

The attack was one of a string that rocked Bangladesh after 1999 when many of the country's murderous Moslems started returning from Afghanistan.

The murderous Moslems created mayhem by targeting Christians, communists, cultural activists and members of secular parties.

India-Pakistan
Indian army kills two fighters in Kashmir
[Iran Press TV] Indian troops have killed two pro-independence fighters in a shootout near the Line of Control (LoC), the de facto border that divides Kashmire between Pakistain and India.

An Indian army official, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said on Thursday that the two men were fatally shot in the Furkian Gali area of Kupwara district, situated about 175 kilometers (108 miles) northwest of Kashmire's main city of Srinagar, on Wednesday evening.

The official added that two AK-47 assault rifles were recovered near the slain fighters.

Also on Wednesday, Indian and Pak border guards fired on each other's positions in Poonch district close to the LoC.

Unnamed defense sources said Indian troops responded to firing from Pak forces and targeted their military posts. There were no reports on possible casualties or damage.

on Tuesday evening, officials said.

They said that paramilitary troops were on a routine patrol in the mountainous area of Mulla Said when their vehicle was hit by a remote-controlled bomb planted by suspected Lion of Islams.

Yez got nuttin' on me, coppers! Nuttin'!
under the collective territorial responsibility clause of Frontier Crimes Regulation (FCR).

Alqaeda Taliban, a Lion of Islam group in Mohmand and Bajaur agencies, grabbed credit for the attack.

Yousaf Raza, a front man for the group, told journalists by telephone from some holy man's guesthouse an undisclosed location that the attack was a reaction to the military operation in North Wazoo Agency. He said that they would continue such activities in the entire tribal areas till the end of the operation.

Meanwhile,
...back at the barn, Bossy's udder had begun to ache...
security forces recovered two remote-controlled bombs in Inam Khoro Chinagi and Damadola areas of Mamond tehsil.

Sources said that the security forces with the help of Bajaur Levies and volunteers of local peace committees conducted search operation in the areas and recovered two remote-controlled bombs. The bombs were safely defused.

Also, political administration on Wednesday arrested 16 rustics under the collective responsibility clause of FCR in connection with an attack on a van in Thangi area of Salarzai tehsil.

Six people including three women teachers were killed in the attack on Tuesday.

In Upper Dir, three people including two FC men sustained injuries in two separate landmine blasts in Sundrawal area on Wednesday.

Police said a local resident identified as Shafiullah was injured when he stepped on a landmine in field. After the blast, police and FC personnel rushed to the spot and launched a joint search operation there.

In the meantime, another landmine went off at the same site and injured two FC men, they added.

In Swat, unidentified persons rubbed out a local peace volunteer in Mingora city on Tuesday night.

According to police, member of local village defence committee Rasheed Ahmad alias Sahibhaq was present outside his shop in Nawai Kallay area of Mingora city on Tuesday night when person or persons unknown opened firing on him. He received four bullets and died instantly.

Iraq
US increases IS airstrikes following hostage horror
[ARABNEWS] The United States sought to maintain pressure on murderous Moslems in Iraq on Thursday, launching Arclight airstrikes after the murder of a journalist underlined the international threat posed by the Islamic State.

And, in the latest sign that a reluctant America could be dragged deeper into the fighting, officials revealed that US special forces had already carried out a failed hostage rescue mission inside Syria.

On Tuesday, the Islamic State released a video in which a Lion of Islam with a British accent is seen beheading American journalist James Foley and threatening a second US hostage.

Americans need a higher threshold for horror. Tragedies sometimes must play themselves out, and the losers must be allowed to lose. #4  James Wright Foley’s brutal public murder should serve as a cautionary tale to all progressive “infidels” who decry others as “Islamophobes.”

According to Daniel Greenfield, writing for Front Page Magazine, “Foley came to Syria to support the Sunni Islamist rebels against the Syrian government.

He cheered on the Sunni Muslim terrorists fighting to ethnically cleanse the Christians of Aleppo. In the conflict between Israel and Hamas, his tweets and retweets were chock full of pro-terrorist propaganda.

I'm not so sure. I think he had great clarity about exactly what he was doing and why. Like the man said, war bites the Big One:

Hamas kills 7 more suspected collaborators in Gaza
Collaborator being the code for somebody who thinks they should stop firing on Israel---at least, for now.
Hamas militants killed seven more Palestinians suspected of collaborating with Israel in a public execution in a central Gaza square on Friday, witnesses and a Hamas website said.

The victims, their heads covered and hands tied, were shot dead by masked gunmen dressed in black in front of a crowd of worshipers outside a mosque after prayers, witnesses and al-Majd, a pro-Hamas website, said.

Earlier on Friday, 11 people suspected of collaborating with Israel were killed by gunmen at an abandoned police station in Gaza, Hamas security officials said
HAMAS "fighters" didn't cut of these people heads---which, I guess, makes HAMAS moderate muslims.

[ISRAELNATIONALNEWS] A 33-year-old man has been maimed by rocket shrapnel in the Eshkol Regional Council, after Gazoo turbans pounded the southern area with rockets Thursday morning.

Among the buildings hit was a kindergarten, which thankfully was empty at the time due to summer vacation. Significant damage was caused to the building.

Thursday morning's salvo included some 13 rockets, all aimed at southern towns bordering Gazoo.
