Obama Admin Tells Banks To Shut Up About Its Targeting of Consumers, Gun Dealers
[DAILYCALLER] A shocking bulletin that CFPB issued to banks, which was obtained by The Daily Caller, was sent around this week in the midst of controversy regarding the administration’s Operation Choke Point program, by which the administration pressures banks to cut off accounts for supposedly suspicious businesses, including gun dealers. Operation Choke Point’s anti-gun mission was recently confirmed in a series of audiotapes published by the US Consumer Coalition, in which a bank teller explained to a gun dealer why his account was being shut down.

“The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau [CFPB] issues this compliance bulletin as a reminder that, with limited exceptions, persons in possession of confidential information, including confidential supervisory information [CSI], may not disclose such information to third parties,” the bulletin states.

“‘Confidential information’ means ‘confidential consumer complaint information, confidential investigative information, and confidential supervisory information, as well as any other CFPB information that may be exempt from disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act pursuant,” according to the bulletin.

#5  Richard Cordray, Director of the Bureau worked for several prominent Republicans and ran for several offices and was defeated each time. He has always been in high level government positions by appointment only. He is now considered a Democrat and political operative, appointed to Director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau by Obama and is ultimately responsible for abusing the power of his office to prevent the commerce of products that are legal and indeed are specifically protected by the United States Constitution. General Contact information for this Bureau is 855-411-2372.

Code Pink Tries to Arrest 91-Year-Old Kissinger for 'War Crimes,' Get Smacked Down by 94-Year-Old George Shultz
[PJMEDIA] A Senate hearing opened this morning with Code Pink
... a U.S. anti-war group. The group describes itself as a women-initiated grassroots peace and social justice movement working to end the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, stop new wars, and redirect our resources into healthcare, education, green jobs and other life-affirming activities. It was founded in 2002 by Jodie Evans, Medea Benjamin and of the other usual antiwar suspects. Its website lists hysterical allegations of US war crimes, and states that thousands of civilians were killed in Fallujah in 2004. Maybe it was millions. Benjamin was a 2000 candidate for the U.S. Senate on the Green Party ticket. She lost...
protesters trying to arrest former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger for "war crimes."

The protesters, bearing signs reading "Kissinger War Criminal" and "Cambodia," rushed up behind the 91-year-old diplomat at the witness table of the Senate Armed Services Committee, which was holding a hearing on global challenges and the U.S. national security strategy.

Also testifying were 94-year-old former Secretary of State George P. Shultz and 77-year-old former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright.

Chairman John Maverick McCain
... the Senator-for-Life from Arizona, former presidential candidate and even more former foot soldier in the Reagan Revolution...
(R-Ariz.) said he would call recess until Capitol Police removed Code Pink from the room.

"I've been a member of this committee for many years, and I have never seen anything as disgraceful and outrageous and despicable as the last demonstration that just took place," McCain said, which led to shout-backs from the protesters.

"You know, you're going to have to shut up, or I'm going to have you tossed in the clink
... anything you say can and will be used against you, whether you say it or not...
. If we can't get the Capital Hill Police in here immediately... Get out of here, you low-life scum," McCain added.

#9  Anything to keep the MSM distracted from their main goal of destroying the real candidates the better. IMO Trump, Palin, Hucklebuckle, and that type fit that mode too.

That doesn't mean that I think Palin would be a bad president, just that there's no way she could survive the campaign. It also doesn't mean that I think Romney or Christie or Bush would be good, but, they will be taken seriously regardless.

Gave up the Liberals in recapturing the Donk party from the socialists so they've expelled the conservatives from the GOP except for just enough 'show' as to keep the money flowing (and to tell them 'you have no choice, hold your nose and pull the lever').

#17  Any real conservative thinking of running should already be in the mode of attacking the Democratic Party Media from day one as nothing but a bunch of operatives who'll lie, misrepresent and manufacture hate. And don't let up cause there's plenty of ammo out there to feed the campaign. If you check the polling data, journalist/media are down at the bottom of trust. What a big target and inviting target they are. Don't apologize. Don't blink. Just keep hammering.

#11  I first read the headline as incinerating criminals...

And said: "Damn if it won't!"
Posted by: Woozle Scourge of the Wee Folk4194 || 01/30/2015 12:24 Comments || Top||

#12  Once read an article that talked about a police station that kept the mugshots of the known criminals on one wall. When those folks were actually in jail they were put below the line, when they were free they went above the line. The more below the line the more peaceful the town was.

If you want to talk about reforming prisons I'm all ears. no cable, fine. Everyone in solitary to kill gang affiliations and end rape in prison I'm ready to give it a shot. But saying that incarcerating them doesn't at least temporarily make us safer is utter madness.
Posted by: rjschwarz || 01/30/2015 14:28 Comments || Top||

#13  So we should take them out back and simply shoot them in the brain pan instead?

I can see that for some serious crimes (Rape, Murder, Attempted Murder,...)
Posted by: CrazyFool || 01/30/2015 15:36 Comments || Top||

#14  Well they sort of did that in the old days. More rope, less lead. Then we became a society rich enough to warehouse them. Then the bleeding hearts on the bench say its too overcrowded. So they're released. Today we lock ourselves up behind security doors and windows, don't allow our kids out after dark, and avoid certain parts of our cities. Guess who's under lockup now? This is considered an 'advanced civilization'.

Latest Champ executive order: 12 million acres of ANWR now off limits
[Kanuk Free Press] Screw you, Alaska. Obama has simply engaged in yet another assault on this nation's economic vitality.

About a third of all the jobs in Alaska are connected to oil exploration and development. And the ability to keep the oil industry vibrant in Alaska is very much dependent on the Trans-Alaska pipeline. So you’d think an administration that claims to be about keeping good jobs viable would have an interest in seeing to it that oil continues to flow freely through the pipeline - not only for the sake of Alaska’s economic viability but also for the sake of the nation’s energy security and independence.

I, for one, have no doubts about Republican ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
Posted by: g(r)omgoru || 01/30/2015 4:30 Comments || Top||

#3  A Republican POTUS and Republican Congress would be EXPECTED to work together and accomplish something. I am not at all certain they are up to the 'expectation.' I am likewise as uncertain as to exactly how much they differ in their basic beliefs about big government. With a few notable exceptions, the pubs appear to enjoy far too much, their role as yapping porch dogs.
Posted by: Besoeker || 01/30/2015 5:53 Comments || Top||

#4  I was in Alaska when Jimmy Carter put the entire known mineral provinces of Alaska into what is called D-2 National Parks and National Preserves. This shut down about 400 mines. The D-2 classification is land that is held in parks and preserves but at some time in the future can be mined. Basically all the known mineral deposits Alaskan were taken and held by the federal government so at some time in the future (once a dictator is installed) the elitists can own and mine them. This latest resource seizure is nothing more than Obama putting a vast oil reserve in trust that will be the property of an elitist at some time in the future. The logging industry has had similar seizures based upon the spotted owl, etc.
