A security source in Aleppo informed North Press that Aleppo airport’s runway was targeted, causing only material damages with no reports of injuries so far.
Media reported that both Damascus and Aleppo airports are temporarily out of service.
Al-Watan newspaper, affiliated with the Syrian government, mentioned that the Iranian Foreign Minister will arrive in Damascus on Friday to discuss the latest developments.
Other sources claimed that Abdullahian, was en route to Damascus during the Israeli attack, and the Iranian plane carrying the foreign minister changed its course back towards the Iraqi airport.

Israeli Army said on Tuesday their forces launched artillery and mortar shells towards Syria after several projectiles were reportedly launched from Syrian territories on Israel.
Axios reported citing Emirati sources as saying the United Arab Emirates (UAE) warned the Syrian government not to be involved in the war between Israel and Hamas

Rooters reported the army said its soldiers fired "towards the source of the launch in Syria" without providing any details. The Syrian government did not comment on the incident or report casualties or damages.
Activists from Daraa Governorate, southern Syria, said posts of the Syrian government forces in Qunaitra Governorate, southern Syria, were subjected to Israeli shelling.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights stated that "Paleostinian factions working with Hezbollah fired mortar shells towards the Golan Heights, and Israel responded by shelling Syrian regime positions in Quneitra and the countryside of Daraa."
