Israeli forces targeted on Monday a military post of the Lebanese Hezbollah militias in the southern countryside of Qunaitra, southern Syria.

Israeli media outlets reported that the targeted post is an observation post of Hezbollah near the town of Hader in northern Qunaitra.

Shortly after the strike, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) dropped threatening pamphlets warning the Syrian government forces to stop cooperating with Hezbollah, according to the Times of Israel.

Al Ahram adds:
The pro-government Al-Watan newspaper and Sham FM radio said "Israeli agression" targeted the town of Talat Qars al-Nafl in Quneitra province but did not mention any casualties.

A Britain-based war monitor, the pro-opposition Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, said the shelling targeted militias linked to the Lebanese militant Hezbollah group in Quneitra. It said that Israel had struck targets in the same area last Tuesday.

Israeli forces based on the border between Syria and Lebanon launched a barrage of missiles towards the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights in Syria, targeting Lebanon’s Hezbollah group, reported the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) on Monday.

No casualties have been reported as of yet, SOHR added.
