| 2 Saudi guards killed at Yemen border |

| [Iran Press TV] Soddy Arabia's Interior Ministry says two border guards have been killed and one maimed by a man trying to cross into Yemen with a large amount of ammunition. Interior Ministry front man Mansour al-Turki said the attacker was also killed in the exchange of fire. The shooting took place in the southern province of Najran early on Tuesday. The man shot at the guards with an automatic weapon while driving a jeep, state news agency SPA reported. The front man said a colonel and a sergeant were rubbed out and another sergeant was maimed. He added that the ministry launched an investigation to find out the assailant's identity. Yemen is the scene of festivities between opposition rustics and troops loyal to President President-for-Life Ali Abdullah Saleh. ... Saleh initially took power as a strongman of North Yemen in 1977, when disco was in flower... On Tuesday, the festivities between the two sides killed at least 19 people, including three children, across the Arab state. |
